The one begotten Son

One and only Son.
The Word intersects humanity.
The Bible is clear that Jesus is God on earth in human form.
The letter to the Colossians affirms this and places Him as Creator also.
At age 12, Jesus is found teaching in the temple with wisdom that is astonishing to Rabbis.
Beginning about age 30 he taught publicly and privately and performed miracles which demonstrated his authority over the physical and spiritual worlds. He was often found in the company of broken people who were likely to be rejected by religious leaders and authorities of His day. After about 3 years He was crucified as he predicted.
The baby born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph announced by angels is God from Heaven. This is foundational to a correct understanding of God's grace toward mankind. It was God himself and not another created person who took the punishment of sin.
Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. But those who have believed in Jesus have standing as adopted sons and daughters and are co-heirs of future glory.
