Be willing to think differently.
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

The Greek word which is translated into the English word "repent" is metanoia -- literally to change your mind; to think differently.
Culture produces in us a worldview and a way of thinking. It is our thinking which determines our actions and decisions, our behavior and the course of our life.
If we let Him, God will change how we think so that we will know and be able to do His will
Then, other parts of our life will change accordingly.
